Junior School Choir

Entries for 2018 are now open

Our younger singers are very much an integral part of ChoirFest Middle East and arguably our most enthusiastic participants. Year after year, we are astounded by the passion and zeal displayed by our schools choirs and impressed by the diverse range of music they perform.
Our main event for schools is the extremely popular Choir of the Year (for schools) competition. In 2017, nearly 40 school choirs, comprising over a 1000 children from across the Emirates, participated in the competition. Many of our school choirs are regular attendees of the Choir of the Year competition and we have watched the children grow in confidence and musicianship each year with pride.

CHOIR OF THE YEAR

Our Choir of the Year competition for schools is an exciting opportunity for children to sing in front of their peers, receive feedback and encouragement from professional musicians and generally spend a fun few hours singing.  There is also a choral workshop for the children led by our professional workshop leaders. This years workshop will be led by the captivating Australian acapella group, The Idea of North.
